"Step away from anyone who makes you feel like you’re hard to love.” - Holly Riordan
This one hit me hard today. 💔 It brought up so many emotions around boundaries—especially the ones I never knew I had permission to set.
For a long time, I let people walk all over me. And when I finally couldn’t take it anymore, I built walls instead of boundaries. Not because I was strong—but because I was hurt. Deep down, I didn’t love or respect myself enough to believe I could say no without guilt… or that I was worthy of being loved just as I am.
Now, I’m learning that healthy boundaries aren’t selfish—they’re sacred.
I’ve started visualizing my inner child—the little girl inside me who just wants to feel safe, seen, and loved. On the hard days, I imagine looking into her eyes and ask myself: Would I let anyone hurt her? And the answer is always no. That’s when I find the strength to say enough is enough. That’s when I tap into my Warrior Goddess energy. 🛡💖
I used to protect everyone but me. But now I know: if I don’t protect that little girl inside… no one will.
✨ I’d love to hear from you: — How do you set healthy boundaries without letting it build into resentment?
— How do you protect and love your inner child?
Let’s create space to hold each other gently today. Share your thoughts, stories, or lessons in the comments. Let’s love on each other through it all. 💬💛
