🌺 Happy Juneteenth, Family! 🌺

Today we honor Juneteenth — a powerful day in history that commemorates the moment on June 19, 1865, when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom — two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not just about the chains being broken, but also about the healing that must follow. Though the physical chains were removed, many of us are still working to break the emotional, mental, and generational chains passed down from centuries of injustice, trauma, and survival.

Let Juneteenth be a reminder that healing is our birthright.
We are the dream of our ancestors. And through intentional healing, we have the power to shift not only our own lives, but the legacy of generations to come.
