😜I may be always thinking about Norwex and finding safer products for my family, but there's more to this Norwex girl you see so I thought I'd share 5 facts that make me... me! I'd love for you to share 5 facts about you in the comments!

1) We are an active duty military family- going on 15 YEARS! WOW! I've been with my husband from the very beginning. So this business truly is a blessing with the flexibility & our frequent moves.

2) I'm a dancer! I danced from the age of 3 throughout college! Ballet, tap, jazz and pointe!

3) I love animals (especially, dogs) maybe more than humans🤣

4) I CANNOT nor do I like to cook😬

5) Currently, my dad has just started chemo for bladder cancer. Shout out to all survivors and those of you fighting right now. I am blessed i'm able to be with him for each treatment!

Keeping with the theme of reducing paper towels, let me share my go to replacement with you.

Norwex Counter Cloths are the reason I can say Ive overcome my paper towel habit.

I love the size- select a size like actual paper towels offer! Just big enough to clean up any spill AND clean at the same time🤯

Absorbency of course is the reason why after sucking up spilled milk with a counter cloth, youll never use a paper towel again👊🏻

And lets not forget Norwex microfiber self purifies and only requires water… so that milk you just cleaned up? Rinse and hang to dry. And its ready for use again🎉

🤯have you ever given thought to how much trash we throw away each day that we actually have the power to reduce? And why care?

Its easy to overlook things that we dont see everyday. We dont see the landfills full or the trees cut down every.single.day.

But we now KNOW this is a problem. Its what we do with the knowdge we’re given that will make a difference, or not.

Trust me, breaking my paper towel habit was not easy. But I did it! I encourage you to be more conscious next time you grab a paper towel. Is there a cloth or rag you could use instead?

Norwex cloths have been instrumental in breaking my paper towel habit. Anything I used a paper towel for, I now prefer a Norwex cloth. They’re so absorbent, dry quickly and self purify. In fact, if given a choice, I would choose the Norwex cloth every time!

Balance 😌a new concept for me.

A combination of a success driven personality, setting big goals, and caring for a family and all that comes with the challenges of a special needs child, balance is unknown territory.

As women and moms, we want it all. We want a successful passion or career, the family and happiness. But its not easy juggling everything. Most days my mind is a disorganized s**t show.

Worry. Anxiety. Fear of not getting everything done or forgetting something important feasts on my brain cells hourly.

Am I doing everything right? Am I doing enough?

The thought of resting brings guilt and shame. Guilty for resting. If im resting, something isnt getting done.

Im learning the beauty of balance. I invested in myself a few months ago with a business and mindset coach. This experience has been freeing.

Im learning rest is necessary for achieved goals and success. I feel ive been given permission to rest. Without rest, I have nothing to give.

Friends, this is your permission to rest😌 take that nap, read that book, take a walk. Put yourself first so you can show up in your life in a new refreshed way.

You’ve been burned by a company in the past, there was fine print no one told you about and it ended up costing you. Unfortunately, this is why direct sales sometimes direct sales gets a bad rap.

It also sounds too good to be true sometimes, right? Do these people really make a decent income from home? Trust me, I’ve had these same thoughts.

It all comes down to doing your own research. Research the company you’re considering.

What does their start up cost look like? Do you have to carry inventory? Do you have monthly sales requirements? Do they provide training? Are they debt free? What does their compensation plan look like? Google, search and ask a lot of questions.

This is the thing, the direct sales business structure is an incredible opportunity IF…

👉🏻You’re with the right company
👉🏻You believe in what you are sharing
👉🏻You understand it takes actual WORK to get the income you desire
👉🏻You’re a goal getter, self starter!

Think about it… you can start your own business for a low start up cost. Can you make money? OF COURSE! Will it take work? YES! If you want a full time income, you’ll be putting in full time hours.

Here’s the secret: this is not a get rich quick business model. You are the boss of your future and your business. YOU decide if you want to be “salesy” or not. NOT the industry, but YOU! It’s people who have gone about this business model by stalking and pressuring people into something they don’t want or need that gives you that bad taste in your mouth. NOT the industry.

So if you’ve ever dreamed of working for yourself, having an opportunity to create a business from home while helping others, don’t write off direct sales. It may be what you’ve been waiting for.

3 lies you are believing that are preventing you from ditching those toxic cleaners.

1. You need a chemical based cleaner to disinfect or clean.

FALSE.

There are actually 3 ways you can clean. Chemical, thermal or mechanical.

Mechanical cleaning is using a microfiber cloth, like Norwex, to physically remove bacteria from the surface.

You’re actually not cleaning when using a disinfectant or chemical cleaner. Disinfectants are registered pesticides with the EPA🤯Their purpose is to KILL organisms. Which means, after you APPLY the disinfectant, you now have dead organisms and pesticides on your counters. The instructions will then tell us to clean the residue with potable water. SAY WHATTT??

2. If it doesn’t SMELL like bleach or a chemical, it’s not clean.

FALSE.

This goes back to our habits and what we’ve known for so long. Scent is an emotional response, it brings back nostalgia. Of course we associate clean with a smell, that familiar cleaning product our moms used to use.

But clean doesn’t have a smell. Think about that. We only associate clean with a scent because we’ve subconsciously related the two. That smell is a toxic chemical coating our counters and bathrooms. That’s why we smell it. What if clean had a feeling?

Just because something smells clean doesn’t mean it’s actually clean. Smells are also great at masking the real issue. I’d rather completely remove the source rather than dousing it in a toxic chemical.

3. If only microfiber and water were that effective, why isn’t it recommended and advertised like traditional cleaners?

This my friends, comes down to good old marketing. Of course the big companies pay millions to advertise their products. And because we are exposed to these advertisements so often, more and more people will buy and use these products. The more people buy and use a product the more that habit forms.

I haven't introduced myself on here for a while so I thought I'd do that again.

Big hello to all of you! My name is Katie and I'm the driving force behind Clean with Confidence.

When I was a new mom I loved to find toxin free products or even DIY products that would be safe around my baby. After doing this for several years I decided to go for it and Clean with Confidence was born.

I spend most of my days providing education and resources about clean living and love every minute of it.
