Another volunteering shift in the books!! We are so thankful for partners like Lifecare Alliance! The students and staff had an amazing day!

Thank you EveryBody Works for volunteering with us yesterday! They helped out in the kitchen, as well as in our gift in kind and senior pet care areas. We couldn't provide our services without the gracious help of volunteers like you!

Congratulations to the EveryBody Works class of 2023! We are so proud of all you’ve accomplished and what the future holds! What a fun but memorable year for our program. Students combined worked over 2900 hours, spent 3000 hours in the classroom, had 32 fun Fridays, visited over 40 places in the community, and an estimated 3000+ hours volunteering!

Students are spending class time today preparing for Mock Interviews in two weeks! Peers will take the time to give feedback then complete a self-reflection on how their practice interview went!

Today at her internship our student Bre got to participate in Kids Connect! The Box Turtle was read aloud to the kids and two turtles, Chum and Bucket, made a guest appearance!

What a busy but fun outing today! Students participated in Zumba at LifeTime Fitness, played some basketball, got lunch at Steak N’ Shake, and visited the library!

This past fun Friday students participated in yoga, an art project, ate lunch at El Vaquero, and visited the Blacklick Nature Center!

Second semester internships are in full swing now. Three of our students are working with Homage at their warehouse! They’ve been kept quite busy and have done an excellent job on picking up the specific skills needed for this site. Keep it up!

We are back from winter break and students have been kept busy during a week filled with Career Exploration! They’ve learned about different jobs in the community. Shout out to the Downtown Library, Seven Studios, Pet Supplies Plus, Al’s Popcorn, Buff City Soap, COSI, and Ocean Club for hosting us!

Last, but certainly not least is Carsonies! We have worked with Carsonie's off and on throughout the years, but were so excited to land an internship with them this semester! Both of our students Izzy and Scott got to gain meaningful work experience and build their customer service and food industry skills. And the most exciting part of all?? They were BOTH hired on as permanent employees!! We cannot thank Carsonie's enough for the opportunity and amazing partnership!
