Hi, my name is Titianna. I want to start off by telling my story. This past month, my family and I, a family of five, moved to Columbus, Ohio to be closer to Nationwide Hospital for my son who has epilepsy. We were scammed out of $4,500 trying to rent a home for our children to be closer to the hospital for my son. We ended up going to a shelter because we had no other choice. No family, no friends, nobody in Columbus, Ohio. We strictly came here because of my son's health, and he was getting good care at Nationwide Hospital.

We moved into the shelter, and their dad left and moved back to our hometown. So now, I'm a single mother of three boys. I didn't expect him to leave; we've been together for 6 years, and he just up and left because it got hard. I am heartbroken for me and my kids. It was totally unexpected, and I have no one in this world. Me and my children are here alone, and I am asking for help, and that's hard for me, but right now I really need it. Being at the shelter is triggering my son's seizures. My children really need it. Anything will help, and I will greatly appreciate it. I just want to get my kids a home. My children had to spend their birthday in the shelter because of a scammer who could care less about our whole situation. Our family is torn apart. I feel at my lowest, and I would greatly appreciate any help anyone has to offer. Thank you in advance, and God bless.

All 3 of these things can be done on Friday 27th from 7pm -10pm a raffle for meat happening every 20 minutes that ALSO donates to so we can keep being an abortion access point for people in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Independent clinics are the backbone of abortion access — and Ohio has a powerful network of providers continuing this work despite barriers.

The Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade centered privacy, not justice.

Roe said the government should not make decisions about your body. But it never guaranteed that everyone would actually have access to abortion care.

Access on paper is not the same as access in real life.

Roe did not address the barriers many people face — including racism, poverty, immigration status, disability, geography, or violence.

It did not protect Black women, Indigenous women, immigrants, people living in poverty, disabled people, or people in rural communities from criminalization or neglect.

Who actually has access to abortion has always been a matter of equity.

Reproductive Justice does speak to that.

The Reproductive Justice framework centers three core rights:

• the right to have a child
• the right to not have a child
• the right to raise children in safe and healthy communities

Because real reproductive freedom requires more than legal rights.
It requires justice.
