Grand Rising & Welcome to the Village. ✨
My name is Ifẹ́ Olùsọ̀ Ìyè Tuntun, Founder and Director of Cherishing Life Beginnings Doula Service and Cherishing Life Beginnings Divine Mother Foundation, Inc.
I carry a name that is also an assignment:
🧬to tend what is sacred
🧬to guard what is vulnerable
🧬to restore life where it has been fractured, rushed, or forgotten
If you are here, it is not by accident. This space gathers those who remember that birth, healing, grief, and community were never meant to be separated.
Some know me as Mama Ife. Others recognize the work before they know the name. I am a Holistic Birth & Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Student Midwife, Doula Trainer, Death Doula, and Community Builder. I walk with women and families across life’s most sacred thresholds from womb to tomb, from first breath to final transition.
I do not work from trends or algorithms. I work from ancestral memory, embodied wisdom, and lived practice.
I am the Founder & Director of Cherishing Life Beginnings Doula Service and Cherishing Life Beginnings Divine Mother Foundation, Inc.
Through this work, we are actively restoring what modern systems have fractured:
🤰🏾 Birth as ceremony, not crisis
🤰🏾 Postpartum as healing, not neglect
🤰🏾 Motherhood as initiation, not isolation
🤰🏾 Community as village, not performance
This is not branding.
This is not hustle.
This is calling and correction.
We are not creating something new. We are returning to what has always been ours.

✨ The Mission
To restore the village around the mother. To return birth to the home, the heart, and the altar. To reduce preventable maternal and infant harm. To train birthworkers to practice with skill, cultural memory, and ethical responsibility. To ensure no mother labors alone. To remind our people that we have always been the medicine.
If something here feels familiar, it is because your spirit recognizes the work.
Welcome to the village.
Welcome to the womb.
Welcome home.
