Happy New Moon Day!

Today's new moon packs extra energy and is a wonderful day for setting intentions for a fresh start or clean slate. It is the perfect day for a new beginning. You can write down your goals or pick out your focus words for the year. Simply meditating for just a few minutes to bring that fresh, clean energy into your field would be great.

According to the Gregorian calendar, today is what's called a Black Moon which is the second new moon within a calendar month. Being so close to January 1st makes it a fantastic partner for those New Year's resolutions.

If you follow the lunar calendar, specifically the 13 Moons calendar, today would be the first new moon of the new year. For this calendar, winter solstice marks the beginning of a new year.

I hope that today brings you peace and clarity.

Happy Holidays!

If you all ate as much sugar and cheese as I did yesterday (oh my, I went crazy 🤣) - today is good day to help your body reset.

No judgment! You should enjoy your festivities and time with family and friends without being all that concerned about the plate. No guilt! Special occasions deserve to be celebrated.

For today and the next few days:
Most importantly- Lots of water- aim for 96oz+ for a couple of days! Some probiotics and vitamin C would be a good start with some Apple Pectin or other fiber for good measure. And if you're feeling extra ambitious, some tumeric/curcumin.

Remember, sugar overload can look like the flu and can depress our immune system. Dairy overload can cause a lot of inflammation.

Whether it was Christmas or the first night of Hanukkah yesterday or the first day of Kwanzaa today, I hope your holidays were/are wonderful this year.
