โ€œLittle League Elbowโ€ is a common baseball injury in younger throwers such as teenagers and/or adolescents. Little league elbow is an overuse injury or strain on the inside of the elbow mostly due to too much throwing, not enough rest, or not enough strength and coordination in other parts of the body leading to overuse or strain on those structures. In overhead athletes, specifically baseball players range of motion and strength are very important. However, we also want to incorporate plyometric exercises such as higher speed and dynamic movements.
Some examples of both strength and dynamic movements are:
Prone Horizontal Abduction
Side lying External Rotation
Body Blade

ACL injuries are one of the most well-known injuries and can account for 50% or more of all knee injuries in high school sports. The sport with the highest likelihood of tearing an ACL is girl's soccer followed by boys football as the second highest. Athletes are 7 times more likely to sustain an ACL injury in competition than in practice. Therefore, it is very important to include weightlifting, plyometrics, and movement within your exercise regimen! Weightlifting to increase muscle strength and progressing plyometrics to gain force development.

Single Leg Swiss Ball Hamstring Curls
Single Leg RDL
Single Leg Jumps over Hurdles
Skater Jumps with Medicine Ball
