Requirements:
💊Must have an active TSBP Pharmacy Technician license
💊Excellent customer service and communication skills
💊Strong data entry skills with accuracy and efficiency
💊Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology
💊6 months to 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
💊Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays
💊Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
💊Available to work full-time: 40 hours a week
Key Responsibilities:
💊Process and verify prescription orders (written/electronic)
💊Accurately input prescription data into pharmacy software
💊Answer phones and assist patients with questions
💊Contact providers for prescription clarifications and refill authorizations
💊Troubleshoot and resolve insurance claim issues
💊Support pharmacists with packaging and labeling medications
💊Help maintain inventory and place medication orders when directed
