🎉 What a great day at the Ohio Senior Expo! 🎉 Mayfair Village Nursing Care Center had a wonderful time participating in yesterday’s Ohio Senior Expo at Hollywood Casino. It was such a pleasure connecting with so many amazing seniors, families, and community partners.

🎉 Congratulations to Mary, who recently completed her rehabilitation with us after a knee replacement surgery. Physical and occupational therapies got her back on her feet and able to take care of herself at home again. 👍

👩‍🍳🫐 Yesterday our residents at Mayfair Village enjoyed baking fresh blueberry muffins together! Everyone lent a helping hand, and the kitchen was filled with laughter, sweet aromas, and wonderful memories.

💙 As we mixed and baked, conversations turned to cherished times in the kitchen with our own mothers and sharing our favorite types of muffins to make. It was more than just baking—it was a chance to connect, reminisce, and enjoy the simple joys of life. ✨

Good-byes are bittersweet! Kayden was in a motor vehicle collision on May 1st and came to Mayfair Village after his hospitalization. On October 5th, Kayden achieved his goal of transitioning to inpatient rehab to continue his journey. He went from bed-bound to walking short distances, dressing himself, and transferring with a just a little help. 💪

As he was getting in the car he said, “This has been my goal, but I didn’t realize how emotional it would be to leave. I love you guys!” 🥰

The staff got together to celebrate his success as he moves on to his next chapter.
