Monday is ideal for showcasing moo moos and enjoying mimosas. Today several of our residents participated in a fashion showcase and put their moo moos on display for all to see. If you didn’t get to join us today don’t fret we will be showing up and showing out every Monday in August at 3 pm in Bernard’s Bar. .

Our Resident Services Manager Angie enhanced Friday’s activity with a little bit of history on English toffee while she navigated the community with the tasty cart, assisting the activities dept and sharing English toffee with our residents. .

Sue was born in Birmingham, AL. She is a graduate of Auburn University. She has five children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She has been employed by the Birmingham school district and by the Muscogee County school district. Sue
has been a resident of Legacy Reserve for over a year. Her favorite part of being a resident at Legacy Reserve is the people she has met. Sue believes in the power of teamwork. She is always open and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone around the community, neighbors, friends, and staff alike. You can find Sue enjoying nature and embracing the summer breeze in the rocking chairs out front. It is our pleasure to call Sue our resident bee of the month

Prisca Everiste is a proud mother of three human babies and fur mom of two dogs and one cat. She relocated from Brooklyn NY to Columbus GA roughly 9 years ago with her family. She has been employed by Legacy Reserve since July 2022. She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology. Prisca's favorite part about working at Legacy is the residents. She states that over the years they all have become like family to her. She loves to assist them in whatever way she can.
She also admires the compassion and dedication of her fellow staff members. She says, "It is touching to see caregivers engage with residents respectfully and attentively. They show genuine care in their interactions and ensure the residents that they are valued and supported. She loves to take time to listen to a resident's story, or help them navigate daily challenges with patience, or simply share a smile and a kind word. Thank you, Prisca, for your hard work and dedication. We are honored to call you our associate of the month.
