Inviting layers of awareness šŸ™Œ

When I tell people I'm a Personal Trainer, many have this image of me standing over some poor, exhausted soul doing wall sits, covered in sweat while I shout, "YOU CAN DO ANYTHING FOR 30 SECONDS!!"

That's not quite the kind of coaching I bring to the table. šŸ˜…šŸ¤¦ā™€ļø

My methods are centered around an embodied sense of safety, awakening layers of awareness within movement and regulation that trickle into daily life. āœØļø

It’s so much more complex than I ever realized…

I used to hear the word ā€œbreathworkā€ and think of box breathing, or the intentional breath used in somatic movement or yoga. I had no idea the complexity of what it does for the nervous system.

This trauma-informed practitioner training has opened my eyes to so many tools and techniques I never knew existed. I’m so excited to be applying them in real time, both on a personal level, with my 1.1 client sessions and the new Mirror Impact Community!

This pot-roast was a week night win!

Cooked on low for 8 hours and it was falling apart, it was so tender.

I serve it with some seasoned green beans and sourdough, garlic toast points for a little crunch.

It’s safe to say, I will be keeping this on my list of quick and low-effort recipes.

Did you know people-pleasing is NOT a personality trait?

I sure thought it was! I thought it was just a normal ā€œthingā€ that all the women in my family did… NOPE!

I’ve been learning so freaking much about myself throughout this Trauma-Informed Breathwork Practitioner Training! And the DEEP conversations these discoveries have been inspiring with friends and family are truly priceless.
