Meet Monica!

Tutoring gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with learners and support their individual IEP goals in a meaningful way. I’ve been an educator for over 20 years, and throughout that time, I’ve seen firsthand that every learner has the ability to grow and succeed with the right support and encouragement. I’m passionate about helping learners build confidence, strengthen skills, and reach their full potential.

Summer enrollment is open!

Learning Aid Ohio offers FREE one-on-one tutoring for students on IEPs. Our program connects families with qualified tutors who provide personalized support to keep learners engaged, build confidence, and make progress all semester long.

Summer Semester: May 16 – September 11
Applications are processed in the order received.

Families can interview tutors in our program or recruit their own trusted candidate.

Meet Sarah!

Being part of Learning Aid Ohio for the past year has been an incredible experience. Sarah loves seeing her learners grow and thrive during their time together, and she feels lucky to work with such wonderful families.

“My favorite memories are just the smiles! I love seeing how happy a learner gets when they learn something new or understand a concept. It’s great being part of that growth.”

Sarah enjoys celebrating each learner’s progress, whether it’s improved test scores or reading more books than ever before. She’s passionate about supporting learners throughout the school year and helping them build confidence and a love of learning. Sandra loves watching learners grow and experience the joy of reading. Seeing their progress and confidence build each week is what makes tutoring so meaningful for her.

“It is exciting to watch the progress that learners make and see them experience the joy of reading. I love creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that meet children right where they are and help them build strong early skills.”

Sandra specializes in supporting young learners from Pre-K through 4th grade with fun, personalized sessions that strengthen early academic foundations and boost confidence. She looks forward to partnering with families to help each learner grow, thrive, and truly enjoy learning.
