Meet Robin!

Robin is a licensed Intervention Specialist passionate about helping Learners with diverse learning needs grow, gain confidence, and reach their full potential.

"I love creating personalized, engaging, and evidence-based lessons that help Learners succeed in reading, math, organization, and IEP-driven goals. My mission is to make learning not only effective but also fun, because every Learner deserves to feel successful!"

Robin looks forward to partnering with families and supporting Learners through Learning Aid Ohio, helping each Learner thrive and enjoy their learning journey.

"My son has really benefited from working with his tutor. He struggles academically, and the one-on-one support he receives is so appreciated. His tutor, Markia, makes learning fun by using games to teach tough concepts.

For example, he struggled with money, but through hands-on games and real-life examples, he’s now able to make change and even help me at the snack stand at his brother’s baseball game! Markia is also helping him with technology and coding, which is a lifesaver for me since I’m not tech-savvy. We are so grateful for her creativity and dedication, she’s truly making a difference in his learning journey!"

Meet Berayah!

Berayah is excited to be part of the Learning Aid Ohio program because it allows her to combine her passion for education with helping Learners grow. As a dedicated English Language Arts teacher and tutor, she loves supporting Learners in building confidence in reading, writing, and communication skills.

“Some of my favorite moments are the ‘lightbulb moments’—when a Learner realizes they can do something that once felt impossible. I love celebrating progress with families, whether it’s mastering a tough concept, gaining confidence to read aloud, or sharing a piece of writing they’re proud of. The relationships built through trust, encouragement, and shared joy of learning are what make this program so special.”

Berayah provides personalized support tailored to each Learner, helping them grow academically and gain lasting confidence while celebrating every step of their learning journey.

Meet Nicole!

Nicole loves working with learners of all ages and abilities and enjoys helping them grow in confidence and skills.

"I’m in my eighteenth year of teaching, including eleven years at the Ohio State School for the Blind. I recently earned my Gifted Endorsement and now serve as a Gifted Intervention Specialist for elementary students. I’ve also tutored for many years and provided technology training for students who are blind or visually impaired."

Nicole is dedicated to helping every learner meet their goals with personalized support and encouragement.
