As we look back on 2025, we’re so grateful for the many ways you have supported Worthington Christian Village this year. Whether through your prayers, encouragement, referrals, or trust in our community, your support has meant more than we can say.

This year also marked our 40th year of serving older adults and their families. For four decades, Worthington Christian Village has been a place of faith, care, and connection, and that legacy is only possible because of people like you. Thank you for being part of our story, and for walking alongside us as we look ahead with gratitude and hope.

Yesterday we celebrated the retirements of two, long-time WCV staff members: Cheryl Burt and Sally Pickard.

Cheryl has served the Village as a nurse's aide for 20 years, helping countless residents and providing above-and-beyond levels of care for every one of them.

Sally is retiring for the second time as our Independent Living Activities Coordinator. She's planned so many parties, organized so many outings, and spent so much of her time and energy heading up the "Department of Fun" - a total of 15 years!

We're so thankful for both Cheryl and Sally and all they've given to improve the lives of our residents over the years.

It's been a busy, pre-Christmas week at the Village!

🎅The Independent Living residents had their Christmas Party (complete with Santa & Mrs. Claus!)
🚌We took a ride to see the Fantasy of Lights.
🎁The Colony ladies had their Christmas-themed monthly luncheon.
🌞The frigid weather moved out and the snow started melting.
🎉This afternoon the Assisted Living & Healthcare Center Residents will have their Christmas party!

Santa & Mrs. Claus were kind enough to carve time out of their busy Christmas schedules again this year to come to our Independent Living Christmas Party. In addition to photos with Santa, our residents enjoyed homemade cookies from the WCV staff, and Christmas carols sung by Village favorite Johnny Steiner.

Every Wednesday morning, our chaplain Paul can be found leading a Bible study in the Healthcare Center. This is one of several Bible studies scheduled throughout the week, as well as a Wednesday evening and Sunday morning church service!
