We are in the last stretch of the renewal cycle for occupational therapists. Remember that you have a new CE requirement for this renewal! 20 hours are still required, but they must include one hour of ethics, jurisprudence or cultural competence. ETHICS CORNER: Productivity Requirements
While any given employer or facility may establish work expectations including productivity standards, the practitioner must ensure that the highest priority patient needs are met. If productivity expectations of an employer are such that a practitioner is unable to meet the above standards, it is the responsibility of the license holder to challenge those expectations.
