This month, we’re celebrating some incredible milestone anniversaries here at Westerwood — 10, 20, and even 35 years of dedication!

We asked each honoree: “What part of your Westerwood journey means the most to you?” Here’s what they shared:

💬 Michele Neary (35 years): “My team and managers have always been very understanding and accommodating over the years.”
💬 Janet Gbaya (20 years): “Interactions with the families of our residents and the appreciation they show me for making such a difference in their lives.”
💬 Lyn Mirocha (10 years): “The best part of being on the Westerwood team all these years has been the strong sense of community and purpose. Most importantly, it’s been a privilege to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.”

Last week was a busy and exciting one at Westerwood!

On Tuesday, residents enjoyed an outdoor performance by the always-talented Barefoot McCoy. 🎸✨

Then on Wednesday, The Tony Hagood Jazz Quartet returned for an encore performance in the A Wing courtyard, followed by a special ceremony in our Dining Room.

It was a wonderful week of music, recognition, and community!

🌮Taco ’bout a good time! Our Staff Appreciation Fiesta was nacho average party! From bounce houses and face painting to music, a dunk tank, games, and the tastiest tacos in town, we celebrated our amazing team and their families in true fiesta fashion.
