Chronic pain brings a lot of new people into our clinic. Unfortunately it is a common story...they've tried everything and nothing seems to touch the debilitating, overwhelming or miserable pain that reduces their quality of life.

Jasna, Re & Tania took a chance with acupuncture (even if fear of needles was a factor) and share how that one decision has impacted their lives. We hope you aren't at that point, but if you are-we welcome you.

Some may even say it's a story with a fairytale ending...although we don't plan on ending anything anytime soon except your pain!

Following up on last week's video about distal needling (needling away from the local area of pain), Steve explains why homologous structures work so well for alleviating pain. If you are receiving community acupuncture, you will mostly receive distal needling (which does not require you to remove any clothing). If you are still curious, you can always ask any of our acupuncturists why they are needling a specific area-they are delighted to answer your questions!
