Everybody can do yoga—no, really!

Lezlie helps you feel grounded, less anxious, and more at home in your body through compassionate, personalized sessions and small group classes. You don’t have to be flexible or know what you’re doing. My job is to help you find a way of moving, breathing, and relaxing your mind that actually fits you. I’ve been teaching for over 25 years, and I’ve seen again and again that when yoga and meditation are uniquely suited to you, they can be transformative. You don’t have to keep pushing through pain or stress. There’s a way to feel better, and I’d love to help you find it. I’ve spent my whole life gathering tools: studying yoga, meditation, energy work, and even getting a master’s in counseling, because I love learning and figuring out what actually helps people. I’ve used these practices to heal my own stress and autoimmune struggles, and now, I get to share them with others. People tell me all the time, “I feel so much better.” That’s what keeps me going. And it’s not just about the physical practice. You can bring all of it—your stress, your confusion, your anxiety, the parts of your life that feel too heavy to carry alone. Yoga isn’t just movement; it’s a way to process, to release, to heal. In private sessions, we work with whatever is showing up for you, whether it’s chronic pain, a life transition, or something you can’t quite name yet. If you’re curious, come try it. No pressure, no perfect poses—just space for you to move, breathe, and feel more like yourself again.

Such good advice...

Whenever you notice you are in pain, remember you have three steps you can take, and they are especially powerful when you do them sequentially:

1️⃣ Mindfulness: Hold your thoughts and emotions in mindful awareness. Observe them without judgment.

2️⃣ Shared Humanity: Remind yourself that encountering pain is part of the shared human experience. We are all in this together.

3️⃣ Kindness: Offer yourself the kindness and care you deserve.

Our yoga practice encourages us to reflect: How can we show up for ourselves today? How do we love ourselves, so that we can show up for our family, friends, and neighbors tomorrow?

In the last few days of the 20th century, author and theorist bell hooks published "All About Love: New Visions." Her work continues to be relevant, and today feels an especially appropriate one to share it: "The light of love is always in us, no matter how cold the flame. It is always present, waiting for the spark to ignite, waiting for the heart to awaken and call us back to the first memory of the life force inside a dark place waiting to be born—waiting to see the light."

Let your yoga practice help you find your light. Let it guide you in loving yourself, and in turn, loving your neighbor. Let it encourage you to change the world.
