Did you know that some towns/cities move their farmers markets indoors during the colder months? I stopped by New Albany's indoor farmers market this morning, grabbed a cup of Snow Angel flavored coffee from Silver Bridge Coffee Company (it was devine) and started to shop! Stopped by my favorite MaKyn Farms for some micro greens to add to my salads & then on to another favorite Twin Oak Farms for some pasture raised beef. They have the best flank steak I've ever had!! Bought some cute earrings for a Christmas gift at Be-Stow Leather Arts too! The indoor farmers market is the first Saturday of the month Nov-Mar at the Philip Heit Center in New Albany. Hope to see you there next month!!

After a few hours of yard work yesterday, my body was telling me to take it easy today. So I listened and a Restorative Flow class just felt amazing! The best part was taking savasana in my favorite restorative pose - Viparita Karani (legs up the wall) aside from just feeling wonderful, there are so many benefits to this pose:
🧘‍♀️helps circulation
🧘‍♀️improves digestion
🧘‍♀️increases immunity
🧘‍♀️promotes relaxation
🧘‍♀️reduces stress
🧘‍♀️helps reduce varicose veins
And so much more! I encourage you to try it for 5-10 minutes a few times a week. Let me know what you think!

Last week I had the privilege of speaking with employees of the school district to create awareness about how their health and wellness is not only important for themselves but for their students as well. Teachers lead by example in all areas of life! I also provided some for healthy energy & for gut health. Wishing all teachers and students a healthy school year!! 🌿🍃

Central Ohio finally had a gorgeous day, and I seized the opportunity to spice up my after-dinner walk with a 10lb rucking vest! Adding weight increases your heart rate during your walk helping to burn more calories & provide more cardiovascular benefits. It also helps strengthen your core & is great for your bones. It got this one on Amazon for about $35. An inexpensive way to amp up your walks.

Magnesium salt bath for the win!! I've had some soreness in my shoulder from increasing weight with my workouts. My massage therapist recommended a soak in a magnesium salt bath and boy did it do the trick! I felt great and much less sore. There are so many other benefits as well! Find it on Amazon. I'd love to know what you think!!
