Autism can be reliably diagnosed as early as 18 months—and research shows many children begin showing signs even before their first birthday.

Here are a few early signs to look out for:⁣
🛑 No big smiles by 6 months⁣
🛑 Not pointing or waving by 9 months⁣
🛑 Doesn’t respond to their name by 12 months⁣
🛑 No babbling by 12 months⁣
🛑 Limited eye contact or not looking at faces⁣
🛑 Difficulty adjusting to changes⁣
🛑 More interested in objects than people⁣
🛑 Limited engagement or shared interests⁣
