The 1st Annual Senior Living Culinary Challenge is here — an American Culinary Federation competition celebrating the passion, creativity, and skill of chefs redefining dining in senior living.

We’re proud to have 10 StoryPoint Group chefs competing alongside peers from across the industry, all showcasing dishes that bring comfort, joy, and flavor to the seniors they serve every day.

The competition will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the GFS Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI.

We started with a driving tour of the historic city, admiring the beautiful architecture and learning about Madison’s rich history. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Clifty Falls State Park with stunning views of nature all around us. 🌿🍴

To top off the day, we visited Lanthier Winery, where residents relaxed, sampled local flavors, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. 🍷💐

It was the perfect day of history, nature, and friendship!

🪘💪 Cardio Drumming Fun! 💪🪘

Our amazing residents showed up and showed out at cardio drumming today! The music was pumping, the energy was high, and the smiles were contagious. 🎶😁

This fun, low-impact workout is one of our favorite ways to stay active, laugh together, and get our hearts moving. Who knew exercise could be this much fun?

🌟Inked for a Day-National Tattoo Day🎉
Last week, our residents joined in on the National Tattoo Day celebration – with a playful twist! Instead of the real deal, we had a blast, applying temporary tattoos, picking designs that reflected each persons unique style and personality.
From bold and edgy to sweet and sentimental, every tattoo sparked, smiles, stories, and lots of laughter. It was a fun way to express ourselves and celebrate the art of ink – commitment-free!
