Some of our clinical team recently attended “The Athlete’s Corner,” a continuing education course hosted by in partnership with Eastern Michigan University. This was part of Ottobock’s Full Circle Movement initiative that empowers the community through movement and adaptive sports.

This hands-on course focuses on advanced prosthetic technology, running leg setup, and training techniques for amputee athletes. Our team is proud to stay at the forefront of education that helps patients return to the activities they love.

Goodnight stars, goodnight air…goodnight to a socket designed with extra love and care. 🌙

Our fabrication team brought the classic Goodnight Moon story to life in this little one’s prosthesis. We love customizing sockets because they should be as unique (and adorable!) as the patient who wears it. See our last post for him putting it to good use already.

Every prosthesis we make is fully custom. They are crafted in-house by our own team to ensure the best fit and function. By keeping fabrication under our own roof, we’re able to spend more time perfecting each detail while still delivering sockets faster than most providers.

We maintain this practice because every patient deserves a socket that’s made for their needs and their story.
