💙 "Super" Fun Day with the Columbus Library Program! 📚🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

We had an action-packed day as our friends from the Columbus Public Library (WI) brought their amazing program — and some very special little visitors! From superhero capes to crafts, cookies, and story time, the room was filled with laughter, smiles, and pure joy. 💫

Intergenerational life enrichment like this is so important. Spending time with children sparks memories, builds connections, and brings fresh energy and excitement into our community. For the kids, it’s a chance to learn, share stories, and gain wisdom from our residents. For our residents, it’s a reminder that joy knows no age. 💛

For our Memory Care residents, moments like this are about more than a delicious snack. Reminiscing about music, favorite foods, and past experiences helps spark memories, encourage conversation, and bring joy through familiar sights, sounds, and tastes. 💛

Our residents had a colorful afternoon creating custom tie-dye shirts, and we LOVED every minute of it! From bold blues to radiant reds, every creation was as unique as the person who made it. 💜💛💙

Even one of our favorite Physical Therapists from SSM Health joined in the fun and stayed to help a resident with their shirt—because teamwork and joy know no job description. 💪❤️

Crafted by one of our creative team members, Cinnadough is a simple, safe, and stimulating dough made from just two ingredients: applesauce and cinnamon! No harsh chemicals, just cozy vibes.
