In honor of Black History Month and CHD Awareness Week, ACHA recognizes Vivien Thomas, a true pioneer in the treatment of congenital heart disease. Despite facing significant barriers, he played a critical role in developing the groundbreaking “blue baby operation” alongside Drs.
