Only 3 types of certification are accepted. The 3 are American Safety Health Institute (ASHI), American Red Cross (ARC), American Heart Assn (AHA). Online only training programs with no hands on skills session or test is a SCAM. They use tricky wording like “American Heart Assn adherence”. The

2-year certification Courses are 2 - 3 hours in length for in-person. Blended learning is training at your own pace. Once you complete the online coursework, we schedule a 30-minute skills session. Your certificate will be sent then.

ASHI resuscitation training programs are equivalent to the CPR training programs developed and administered by the American Heart Association,® Inc. (AHA) and the American Red Cross® (ARC)
ASHI BLS & EMR resuscitation training programs are developed and administered by HSI, which is a nationally accredited organization of the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). CAPCE is the national accrediting body for Emergency Medical Services (EMS) continuing education courses and course providers. ASHI BLS is CAPCE approved and the program is widely accepted in more than 150 healthcare-related occupations. The Ohio division of EMS has approved ASHI as a service provider for BLS/EMR/ACLS/PALS.
