September 7-13 is National Assisted Living Week this year! We celebrate all the residents, caregivers, housekeepers, dietary aids, managers, CNAs, cooks, directors, nurses, volunteers, CMAs, families, therapists, and everyone else who makes this place home for so many. This year’s theme is “Ageless Adventure”, recognizing the individuality and purpose of residents and staff, no matter your age or needs! At The Gardens at Calvary, it is our joy to support our residents through the transition of moving into an assisted living facility, and we are so grateful for the staff that goes above and beyond through it all!

Today, we celebrated 6 months of memories made and created new ones together with the first of many “Donuts with Zack”. It was a lovely morning of fellowship, coffee, and delicious Golden Donuts. We are so thankful for the past 6 months with Zack on our team and cannot wait for many more to come! 🍩

Another way our residents stay active at The Gardens is in a garden of their own! A group of our assisted living residents help plant, water, and pick fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, berries, bell peppers, and more. It’s a great way to build community, be physically active, and work together!
