Great News for Licking County residents! We have opened a location in Newark! We will be scheduling and seeing patients on Wednesdays at Center for Sight, 1717 W Main Street Suite 100 Newark starting 08/06/2025.

Our newest physician Harrison Sciulli, MD. will be staffing this location for all your retinal needs. Please call the main office at 614-464-3937 to schedule. We look forward to taking care of you.

Here we GROW again. We are happy to announce we have added a new physician to the group. Dr. Harrison Sciulli will be joining our practice in July 2025.

In the past, patients with Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans were eligible to enroll in the Good Days program, a national non-profit charitable organization, that assisted with offsetting the cost of the patient responsibility coinsurance for injections based on financial need.

Unfortunately, at this time, Good Days has not received adequate funding in order to continue to provide assistance for all eligible patients.

As a result, unless there is additional funding received, moving forward, patients will be responsible for their coinsurance amount at the time of their visit. As participating providers in the Medicare program, The Retina Group is required by federal law to collect unmet deductible, and coinsurance amounts for Medicare and Medicare Advantage plan beneficiaries.

The Retina Group recognizes the importance of continued treatment for their patients – if you are unable to afford your coinsurance, please do not skip your scheduled appointment – there may be other treatment options available.

We are growing!! We are proud to announce that we will begin seeing patients at our new Springfield location 2230 E High Street Springfield, OH 45505 at the Greater Ohio Eye Surgeons office.

Dr. Mashal Akhter will be seeing patients starting February 12, 2024
