We are deeply grateful to Elizabeth and Ed from WGCU Public Media PBS/NPR for visiting Fort Myers Teen Challenge and helping shine a light on powerful stories of hope and transformation. Every day, lives are being restored and made new.

At Teen Challenge, our mission is to put hope within reach of every person struggling with addiction or life-controlling issues. Partnerships like WGCU make it possible for this message of freedom to reach even further, reminding people that change is possible and hope is alive.

Stay tuned for the full story airing in the weeks ahead!

We are SO proud of you Shane! Your life is a powerful testimony of God's ability to take a broken life and raise it up. You are a new creation in Christ and we can't wait to see all that God is going to do in and through you! šŸ™

"My name is Shane Vinson. I am from Metropolis, Illinois, and I am 22 years old. Growing up, I didn’t have a father figure in my life, which left me very confused. I always wondered what I had done to not have him in my life.

I started using fentanyl to cope with the empty feelings I was having, which eventually led me down a dark path that I wasn’t ready for. For the next four years, I was in and out of jail and was never ready to get help—until my mother told me about Teen Challenge. I decided to give it a try because, deep down, I wanted something better.

Today, I am 15 months sober and couldn’t be happier with life. Jesus made that possible. Teen Challenge saved my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Since being here, God has blessed me in so many ways. I took on a leadership position in the program, which has helped me become a better person.

God has restored my relationship with my family to the fullest, and I couldn’t be more thankful. I have also decided to stay in re-entry because I was given a job opportunity. With all this being said, God has moved in my life in a powerful way—and He can move in yours too."

Join us in prayer for Shane and the the next step in his jouney šŸ¤

Our men are just 38 days away from heading to Argentina šŸ‡¦šŸ‡· to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

A huge thank you to On The Way Global Missions, who have been working tirelessly to organize these mission trips. We couldn’t be more grateful for their dedication in making this life-changing opportunity possible! šŸ’™

There is still time to donate and help get our men over the finish line so they can go and serve. Every gift helps equip them to share hope and transformation with the people they will meet.

✨ Testimony Tuesday ✨

When Awsten came into our program, his addiction had taken such a deep toll that he was in psychosis— Many would have counted him out.

šŸ™Œ BUT GOD!

Awsten didn’t give up. He pressed in, sought the Lord, and allowed Jesus to do a transforming work in his life. Today, he is a completely different man—restored, renewed, and walking in freedom.

This is what the power of Jesus can do. āœļøšŸ”„

Join us in celebrating one of our Women's Center Graduates!šŸ™Œ

"My name is Desiree Hartman, I'm 18 years old and from Illinois. I had a very traumatic childhood that introduced me to a rough lifestyle at a young age. Prostitution led me to gang-related activity, which ended me up in Teen Challenge. The Lord has blessed me in ways that I've never imagined possible. Experiencing what real love looks like, has helped me begin to heal from the things that tried to take me out."
