Hesus Hickman : Admissions Coordinator, Teen Challenge Jacksonville Men’s & Women’s Center

The Argentina mission trip gave me a deeper and more powerful understanding of who we’re called to be as Christians and as the Church. Being there showed me firsthand that following Christ is so much more than talking about serving Him or showing up on Sundays and Wednesdays. It’s about finding opportunities every single day to reveal Jesus through our actions.

It’s not just about giving financially—it’s about how we love people, how we pray for them, and how we choose to step into the lives of the broken and the lost. This trip opened my eyes to practical, authentic ways to reach others with the heart of Christ.

Argentina reminded me of our calling to make disciples of all nations, and it helped me see what that truly looks like when lived out in real life.
