Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community is nestled in the small town of Columbus, Texas, well known for it’s majestic hundred-year-old live oak trees and southern hospitality. Near the banks of the Colorado River, our fa

cilities are conveniently located between Houston, Austin, and San Antonio right off the IH 10 corridor. Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community is a leisurely 40 minute drive from the Katy area. In 1987, the 100 hall was added, and in 1995 the 500 hall was added. A number of private rooms became available with these additions. The facility added a rehab/physical therapy gym in 2005. Today the skilled nursing facility is certified for 137 beds including private suites, private Medicare suites, 4 dining rooms, a physical therapy gym ,and a beauty/barber salon. Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community has been designed to meet the special needs of today’s active senior. Whether your need is an assisted lifestyle or making the difficult decision for long term care placement or you have needs for short-term rehabilitation, Columbus Oaks can offer you the peace of mind knowing your loved one will receive professional, compassionate, and skilled care. Columbus Oaks is a certified Medicare and Medicaid facility. We also accept private pay. From the moment you enter Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community, you will know we are the best choice for your assisted living, long term care, and rehabilitation needs.
