Physicians CareConnection recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the PCC Center for Optimal Health!

In its first year, the new center has scheduled more than 1,200 medical appointments. As the lead supporter of PCC, the Columbus Medical Association Foundation is grateful for the physicians, medical professionals, and community volunteers who generously share their time and expertise with neighbors in need of care.

Meet Sarita Pattisam, a medical student at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine with a passion for science, service, and lifelong learning.

She discovered the Columbus Medical Association through her school’s newsletter and began attending events to connect with local physicians and peers. In October, Pattisam was selected to help present the 50-year awards at CMA’s Annual Celebration.

“It was a great honor to recognize such dedicated physicians who have spent their lives serving others,” she shared. “Their careers embody lifelong learning and compassionate care, which are values I hope to emulate.”

Dr. Anne Pariser has always had a passion for helping people.

With more than 30 years of volunteer experience in the DC area, finding an opportunity to give back was a priority for Dr. Pariser when she moved to Columbus earlier this year.

Volunteering with Physicians CareConnection (PCC) has helped her feel more a part of our community, allowing her to meet the people who make this city special.

“The work PCC is doing for the people of Columbus is extremely important,” said Dr. Pariser. “PCC provides essential healthcare support within Columbus and provides invaluable benefits to patients and volunteers alike.”

As the lead supporter of PCC, the Columbus Medical Association Foundation is grateful to volunteers like Dr. Pariser for sharing their time and expertise with our community.
