Last month, association members and community partners gathered at our Annual Celebration to honor those who have shaped our past and celebrate the next generation leading our future.

“Our story is rooted in physician resiliency, innovation, problem solving, and caring deeply about our local community,” CEO Tracy Davidson reflected.

“My question and my challenge, my bold ask to everyone here in the room is: what do we do next? How do we engage more physicians and physician allies in our work? How do we leave a legacy for the students of today, the patients of tomorrow, our families, and our neighbors?”

Thank you for being a part of writing our next chapter in central Ohio. Together, we’re united in advancing health care for our community.

Today we celebrate four incredible years of Made for Medicine! This initiative is making a difference in our community by attracting and supporting more Black students to pursue careers in medicine.

Through culturally responsive curriculum, access to same-race faculty role models, and hands-on learning experiences, Made for Medicine continues to equip students in grades 6–12 with the foundation to thrive today and throughout their future medical careers.

Here’s to many more years of inspiring future physicians and advancing equity in healthcare, together!
