Big changes can feel overwhelming for teens — new schools, college transitions, social shifts, or even just growing up.
As a parent, your support matters more than you think.
Here are 3 things you can do right now to help your teen navigate life’s transitions:
1️⃣ Validate their emotions.
Let them know it’s okay to feel anxious, unsure, or overwhelmed. You don’t have to fix it — just listen.
2️⃣ Keep routines steady.
When everything else is shifting, simple daily routines create a sense of safety and structure.
3️⃣ Be available, not overbearing.
Offer your presence without pressure. “I’m here when you’re ready to talk” goes a long way.
Change is hard — but your steady support can make all the difference.
