To celebrate National Poultry Day, we arranged a range of poultry-themed events, including reminiscences, trivia, jokes, snacks, and a poultry racing dice game. We collectively named our poultry and projected the results. Fuzzy Wuzzy Chick in lane #2 was declared the winner this afternoon. With Loosey Goosey in lane #3 in 2nd place and Henny Penny in lane #1 with 3rd place.

Happy Activity Professional’s week! We would like to express our appreciation to Randy, Trinette, Brianna, & Jenny for being our “Everyday Superheroes” as they help to enhance the lives of our residents! When asked about some of the most rewarding parts of the job, they mentioned: visiting with the residents and hearing their opinions about life events, the fast pace, implementing activities with the residents, seeing them try new games, crafts, and ideas that I’ve thought up, I love making the Residents smile & laugh, hearing them laugh makes me feel good inside.
