The OHIV Hotline provides callers with information about HIV, STIs, sexual health, and testing/health resources. Plus, free condoms!

The hotline provides callers and chat users with information about HIV, STIs, sexual health, and testing/health resources — privately and anonymously. We also have the Free Condom Project, where anyone living in Ohio can order condoms that will be mailed discreetly to their desired address. The Hotline is a resource for people living with HIV/AIDS, and acts as an information and referral service t

o Ohio residents. This includes referrals to care services, local health departments and HIV/AIDS organizations, mental health facilities, medical, legal and dental practitioners, etc. Health professionals may also contact the Hotline to find resources, testing sites, and general care information. Hotline operators are always happy to help in any way possible. Don’t hesitate to contact the hotline with any questions, comments, or concerns you feel are relevant and may not be listed as a specific service.

August 20th is Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a day to recognize the disproportionate impact that HIV/AIDS has on the Southern United States. The South counts for a large portion of new HIV diagnoses, but has a low rate or treatment and prevention. These health inequities caused by racism and poverty need to be addressed to move forward with the goal of ending the epidemic!

We are happy to announce that all OHIV services are up and running again! This includes the Free Condom Project, free At-Home Test kits, and the OHIV Hotline! Thank you all so much for your patience!

Until further notice, all OHIV services and programs are stopped. This includes the Free Condom Project, Free Test-At-Home Kits, the OHIV Hotline, all collaborations and presentations, etc. We apologize for the inconvenience .

OHIV will be closed Thursday, June 19 in honor of Juneteenth, Freedom Day. We will reopen Friday, June 20 with our usual business hours. If you have an emergency and think you may need PEP, please visit an emergency room within 72 hours.

Today marks the 9th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida. OHIV honors the victims and continues to send our love and support to them and their families. We will continue to advocate for our community and stand against hatred and bigotry. Take care of each other and reach out for support if needed.
