During the Nov. 5 City Council meeting, Mayor Kenneth L. Wright proclaimed November as National Family Caregivers Month, encouraging "all residents to honor the tremendous value family caregivers add to our society." The proclamation was accepted by staff members from Gentiva Hospice, a healthcare provider that supports countless family caregivers.
