Wow! This just speaks to me this month!

Bones bend spacetime. One must move slowly with them, slowly as they themselves move. Whether it is the bones of diatoms flowing across the Atlantic ocean in processual plumes of life-giving dust, or the ancient bones of creatures we can only imagine today, bones are dense materialities - inviting prophecy, not pity. Inviting us to look again, inviting miracles, inviting slowing down.

Slowing down is thus about lingering in the places we are not used to. Seeking out new questions. Becoming accountable to more than what rests on the surface. Seeking roots. Slowing down is taking care of ghosts, hugging monsters, sharing silence, embracing the weird.

Slowing down is meeting the sensuous. The idea of slowing down is not about getting answers, it is about questioning our questions. It is about staying in the places that are haunted.

It is about uncovering bones.

Learn about holistic practices, shop wellness products, and try some affordable body/energy work samples.

Andrews House is a local organization in downtown Delaware that supports the community by providing free community dinners, legal advice, summer lunch programs, and a farmer's market.

“The discovery of time crystals also requires re-evaluation of some existing theories and understandings, as it seems to suggest that there are phases of matter beyond the realm of what we currently understand. There are some potential applications of time crystals that are even more sci-fi than their name implies, but unlike many such futuristic-sounding breakthroughs, time crystals already exist in more than one form and have been confirmed in peer-reviewed studies by multiple university research teams.”

Two separate groups of scientists recently reported that they observed time crystals, which lends credence to the idea that this theoretical state of matter is something humans can actually create and observe.

‘Co-author and group leader, Professor Ferruccio Renzoni (UCL Physics & Astronomy), said: "Electromagnetic induction imaging has been successfully used in a range of practical uses such as non-destructive evaluation, material characterization, and security screening, but this is the first time that it's been shown to be useful for biomedical imaging. We think it will be safe to use as it would expose organs, such as the heart, to one-billionth the magnetic field commonly used in MRI scanners.

"We've achieved a phenomenal level of sensitivity in an unshielded, room temperature environment, which brings us a lot closer to bringing this technology to the clinic. It was only possible by using quantum technologies and we are excited about the potential applications for improving clinical outcomes of atrial fibrillation."’

The conductivity of living organs, such as the heart, could be imaged non-invasively using quantum technology, which has the potential to revolutionize the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation.
