Olivia has been a nurse practitioner with Columbus Hospice since April 2025! She said that "being a nurse practitioner with Columbus Hospice is more than just a job. It is a calling that fills my heart with purpose. I have with the organization for almost a year, and what I have found that sets Columbus Hospice apart is the genuine sense of family among the team. We truly support each other. It is a privilege to walk alongside the patients and their families during such a vulnerable time, offering comfort and care when they need it most." Stacy Balkcum has been a CNA with Columbus Hospice for just over 2 years. She goes out in the community to assist our patients in their homes. She loves working for Columbus Hospice because it is a great organization and it allows her to provide compassionate care and build a bond with patients and families in their final days and help improve their quality of life and provide comfort. We are so grateful for Stacy and her heart for caring for our patients!

What began in 1979 as the community’s first hospice has grown into a locally governed, nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of patients and families across the Chattahoochee Valley.
