Vulnerable post addressing recent conversations I've had with clients and other practitioners leading up to my leave.

Every massage therapist that isnβt me, has something I donβt have.
Every massage therapist, even if they graduated from the same class at the same school, gives a completely different massage.
There are as many reasons to go to a different massage therapist, as there are different massage therapists. Itβs likely none of those reasons have anything to do with me personally.
'Comparison is the thief of joy"
As bodyworkers, the thought of owning clients has always bothered me. I don't feel I own my clients, they CHOOSE to spend their money with whoever provides the care they need. Just think if your grocery store told you you cannot shop anywhere else because you're their customer only.
I say this to change the mentality about consumers/ customers. It is a blessing to have your repeat business!
With this being said... it's extremely important to me that my clients continue to get their body work done while I'm out. Many of you are hesitant and I understand that feeling! Sometimes it takes a long time to find YOUR person. I highly suggest trying out someone new because you could surprisingly find some you like BETTER than me! If you don't, that's okay too. I will welcome everyone back with open arms.
After all, I love what I do and I love helping you all. This industry should not be a competition and your well being should be the #1 priority when it comes to this business.
I can't wait to get back to it and I'll being posting updates along the way.
