I am doing some reading in my, Comfort Touch Massage for the Elderly and Ill, text book. I love this paragraph about how a light touch can relax the body. Sometimes people feel that deep pressure is what they need to relax thier muscles...but if you have ever had a massage, or even a facial, and the practitioner just simply places thier hands on your back or head and holds them them there for a bit, you will feel your whole body relax. Your muscles relax as well...simply from a sustained touch. π€
