Have you ever wonder how you can get a better nights sleep?

1. Stick to a schedule: this one is important because when you stick to a schedule, your body will naturally know when it is time to wind down for the night and when to wake up! If the time you go to bed changes every night, your body won’t be able to keep track making winding down and falling asleep harder.
2. Keep your room dark: when your room is too bright, your body will have a harder time winding down. Having a dark room will help your mind realize it’s time to rest, making it easier too fall asleep. Make sure that at least an hour before bed you also put away or turn off screens! The blue light that comes off of screens tricks your mind, making it harder to fall asleep.
3. Exercises: not only is exercise good for your overall health! But I helps support in a good nights sleep because your body will need time to repair itself while you sleep! When you exercise daily (30 minutes) you will sleep better and wake up feeling energized and ready for your day!
4. Avoid eating before bed: if you eat right before bed, you’re body is going to try to use what you just are for energy! Stop eating 2 hours before you go to bed to get a good night sleep
5. Reduce noise: by reducing noise while you sleep, you will be able to enter each cycle of sleep fully. If you need some noise, try something that falls in the realm of nature, rain, the ocean, wind, these sounds are peaceful to where it won’t distract your mind as you sleep!
