Discovering how the body works is important for kids to learn early on. Understanding anatomy helps them connect the dots between movement, health and confidence. 💥

During the KidStrong Fall Challenge we teach young kids about anatomy in fun, engaging ways that sets them up for:
✔️ Better body awareness—so they move with coordination and control.
✔️ Future STEAM learning—anatomy is the foundation for science education now and later in school
✔️ Lifelong health—Awareness of muscles, bones and movement can lead to healthy habits that last a lifetime!

It’s Coach Sammi! I’m a current Senior at High School. I am a very energetic person and I love having a good time and making the most of every day. I am a volunteer EMT at a local ambulance corps and I really am compassionate about helping people. I like to spend a lot of my time at the gym working out. If I had to choose a favorite vacation spot it would definitely be Lake George. I love everything about the area and the lake and renting boats. My superpower would 100% be having the ability to fly so I could go anywhere I wanted to in a short amount of time without having to worry about traffic lol!! My favorite Kidstrong game would have to be wedge slide relay. I love Kidstrong because not only does it help our kids to develop confidence and embrace the people they are but it has helped me develop my confidence significantly. I love how at kidstrong we are all a family and support each other as we grow!

Hey there! Coach Chip here to tell you a little about myself! I am the Senior Coach of KidStrong Commack! I’m from Babylon, Long Island but lived in Ireland for a year when I was 7 years old and have traveled to 9 countries with my family over the years.

My favorite food is pizza. Sicilian specifically. If I could have any Superpowers it’d be super strength. I love to workout and play sports on weeknights and Sunday Mornings and having super strength would make both easier lol

I love working at Kidstrong Commack because the team here is amazing and the kids and parents are so much fun and enjoy what we have to offer.

It’s Xandy your assistant manager of KidStrong Commack. Besides being Coach Xandy I love my flips and tricks, and love getting creative with art! My favorite place to travel is Madrid Spain and some of my favorite foods are sushi and a good pizza pie. If I could have one superpower it would be flight because I love being in the air! The best KidStrong game in my opinion is Don’t wake The Coach! And lastly I love KidStrong because it’s the best place for kids to build their confidence and tackle the real world!

It’s Coach Mayu, the lead coach of KidStrong Commack! Other than being Coach Mayu, I am in school to become a teacher! I am a MST online student at Cortland. C state! In my free time I go to the gym. I like to go out to grab food or watch a movie with my friends or family. My favorite place I have visited is Mexico! My favorite thing to eat is chicken wings/chicken tenders and French fries! If I could have any superpower it would be transportation so I can transport to any place in the world! My favorite KidStrong game is a tie between wrecking ball and wedge slide relay. I love KidStrong because of the direct impact we have in making kids more confident in themselves to talk to new people and to try new activities!

Grit is what helps kids keep going when things get tough. It’s the drive to work hard, stick with it and finish strong—even when the challenge feels like it’s too much.

During KidStrong’s Fall Challenge, kids are given opportunities to push their limits in a safe, motivating environment. This allows them to learn that grit isn’t about talent—it’s about consistent effort, the ability to persevere and cultivate resilience.
