Promotoras are trained, trusted community members who serve as lay health educators, advocates, and vital bridges between underserved communities and the health and social services they deserve. They support families through outreach, sharing knowledge on chronic disease, nutrition, mental health, and more.

Dylan first visited KIND in 2024 for an initial appointment with Nikki, one of our dedicated dental hygienists, and returned in January 2025 to continue his care. He presented with significant decay and was treated by both Dr. Khalid and Dr. Kwon. With their support and Dylan’s commitment, he completed all recommended treatment in December 2025.

This is another successful internal referral and another child who received comprehensive care right here at KIND.

Story time! Over a year ago, Samantha was seen by one of our Chopper Topper teams at her school. She had a lot of cavities, but thanks to the KIND model, she was able to get into our Commerce City clinic right away and we fixed every single one. Fast forward a year, and when Chopper Topper visited her school again, she was still cavity free. Thats this great photo, and that’s the power of Kids In Need of Dentistry and the incredible support from people like you who make stories like hers possible.
