Our first visit to the Detroit Museum of Illusions was an exciting and engaging experience for everyone involved. Residents had the opportunity to explore a variety of interactive exhibits, immersing themselves in mind-bending visual illusions and hands-on displays that challenged perception and sparked curiosity. Laughter and conversation filled the space as participants posed for photos, tested their senses, and enjoyed the unique, educational atmosphere. It was a fun and memorable outing that combined entertainment with discovery.

We celebrated Mardi Gras in grand style with vibrant, colorful décor that brought the spirit of New Orleans to life. Guests enjoyed festive hurricane drinks, authentic New Orleans–inspired cuisine, and an atmosphere filled with energy, music, and celebration. The highlight of the event was the crowning of our new Mardi Gras King and Queen, Joel Levi and Carol Kay, making the day even more special and memorable. It was a lively, exciting celebration full of fun, flavor, and festive cheer for all who attended!

We celebrated our February birthdays with a delightful Surf and Turf dinner, complemented by beautiful centerpieces and an elegant evening atmosphere. It was a wonderful celebration filled with great food, warm company, and a refined ambiance.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day in style at our festive Happy Hour. They enjoyed delicious chocolate-covered strawberries, refreshing mimosas, and champagne, while being serenaded by crooner Kevin Wills celebration filled with laughter, music, and wonderful memories.

We enjoyed a heartwarming afternoon crafting homemade Valentine’s Day cards with Eileen and Jodi. Using creativity, care, and beautiful decorative touches, they designed stunning cards that looked just like expensive store-bought greetings. The finished creations were filled with personal charm—perfect for sharing love and appreciation.

Residents expressed their creativity by transforming plain ceramic tiles into beautiful, one-of-a-kind coasters. Using colorful markers and alcohol, they blended and spread the inks to create vibrant, flowing designs with unique patterns and effects. This hands-on art project encouraged imagination, relaxation, and artistic exploration while producing functional keepsakes they can proudly use or gift to others.
