Someone once told me to stay in my lane, that the spiritual inspiration I carry is where my true purpose lies. I have held on to that truth and echoed it throughout my journey.

Family does not always clap for your dreams. And that is okay.
I have learned that sometimes you must step out alone. You must blaze a new trail and walk your purpose. The right people will come. Those who are meant to walk with you will.
Each day I ask God to remove people with ill intent. To clear away those who do not respect who I am. To do for me what I cannot do for myself. And to remove the ones I do not yet have the strength to release.
Through that prayer I have realized something. If someone is not part of God’s plan for me, that is not my loss. It is theirs.

Maybe you needed to hear this too. Your journey does not need everyone’s approval. Those who are aligned will follow. Those who are not will not. And that is okay.

Walk your purpose. Trust God with the rest.
