D&J Professional Cleaning is hiring an Area Manager to oversee cleaning services across New Hampshire, with use of a company vehicle. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, reflecting the diversity of our clients.
Job Summary: The Area Manager will manage cleaning and maintenance activities, including inspecting accounts, planning staffing, assisting with cleanings, resolving disputes, and acting as a liaison between leadership, staff, and clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Inspect client accounts to ensure consistent quality using inspection software
Manage work orders for scheduled cleaning tasks
Oversee daily jobs to ensure adherence to scope of work
Assist with account budgets
Train and onboard new staff
Fill in for staffing shortages
Manage inventory and order supplies/equipment
Maintain equipment and vehicle schedules
Collaborate with leadership, supervisors, staff, clients, and vendors to ensure effective communication.

Travel: Required throughout the state of NH (company vehicle provided)

Ensure adequate staffing for department needs
Utilize recruitment tools to build talent
Delegate tasks based on employee skills
Evaluate performance and plans compensation accordingly
Identify internal and external training for development
Create growth opportunities for employees
Provide ongoing coaching on functional and leadership standards.
Identify, document, and execute new management tasks
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years of janitorial experience, or
Three years of management experience
Proficiency in excel and time management software
Valid drivers license and clean background check
