It’s National Nurses Week! We are surrounded by incredible, intelligent, strong and empathetic nurses at Concord OBGYN. Starting with our five incredible nurses; Holly West NP, Keri Covino RN, Pam Dwyer-Alcaide RN, Mandi Wonders RN and Kelsey Gallagher LPN! We also have our wonderful Nurse midwives, Kim Capello CNM, Joanna Couvillon CNM, Sasha Weigel CNM, Katelyn Richer CNM and Sole Diaz CNM. Another shout out to the amazing nurses on Labor and Delivery and Postpartum at Emerson Health!Our nurses are so devoted and give so much to our patients. They are all that a nurse should be and more. If you see or talk to our nurses this week, please let them know how much you appreciate them! 👩‍⚕️🩺💉💕 “Nurse is just another word to describe a person strong enough to tolerate anything and soft enough to understand anyone.”

This week is recognized as National Infertility Awareness Week. The reason for this week, is to raise awareness, start conversations and support people struggling with infertility. 1 in 8 people in the US experience some sort of infertility. Infertility can look like many things; miscarriage, inability to get pregnant, IVF, loss of a baby, etc. Infertility can feel so lonely for the person or couple going through it. At Concord OBGYN, we are no stranger to the struggles of infertility of our patients, but also some of our own individual struggles with infertility. This week, we are especially mindful of our resilient patients, on this path that no one should ever have to be on. We never want you to feel alone! The best feeling in the world for us, is seeing our patients and their families thriving, after disappointment and loss. Please share your miracles with us below. Your stories just may give hope to those who really need it 🧡
