Do you have a child who uses Augmentative & Alternative Communication? Join Pep Talk Speech Therapy for an AAC summer course!

This course is designed to support users with high-, medium-, or low-tech AAC systems. Your child will work directly with an SLP who specializes in Assistive Technology. They will learn Core Words, participate in engaging activities, and the best part? Parent/caregiver education!

It was a gorgeous day for Special Olympics, Cabarrus County. Props to all the athletes for training hard and participating in their events.

Thank you to my client, who came out to volunteer with me! He practically ran the snack table without me.

Reason #4276 why I love kids:
Sweet, happy little 5yo comes in for a screening today. She’s beat bopping around my office, dolled up in my Pretty Pretty Princess jewels and her cute little rainbow tutu dress. She says, “Look! I have a surprise for you!” and boom 💥💥💥

She throws up the middle finger.

Her mom and I busted out laughing and she’s just proudly standing there, showing me her middle finger and smiling.

She finally says, “See? I lost my nail!”

Turns out, she got it slammed in a door and her whole nail came off.
