Happy national speech-language pathologist day!

We couldn’t think of any better way to celebrate than to finally announce we are adding another amazing SLP to our team this summer!

Gillian is a recent graduate of Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire, receiving a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies.

Before pursuing her graduate degree, Gillian worked for four years as a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
She has experience providing individualized support across a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. She believes in child-led, collaborative care and a team-based approach to treatment.

Outside of her professional interests, Gillian enjoys perfecting her sourdough recipes, spending quality time with family and friends, or caring for her ever-growing collection of houseplants. She’s often found with a book in hand or spending time outside with her sweet pup Rosie.

May is better speech and hearing month! Check out the exciting new equipment we have in the clinic this month! We are currently trialing eye tracking technology with one of our clients! At Babble and Beyond, we believe everyone deserves a voice, and we will exhaust every option to give our kiddos that opportunity! Stay tuned for another exciting update later this month!!

We’re thrilled to share that we will be moving to a new space, but don’t worry — we aren’t going far! We will still be in Concord, and we can’t wait to continue serving you from our new, improved location starting April 1st!

Last week before leaving my office one of the amazing preschoolers I work with stopped at the door. He turned to me and said ‘you are loved, you are safe, you are protected.’ I hope all of you can feel that way, surrounded by family and friends today. I am so thankful for the amazing and kind children and families I work with on a daily basis. Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving! 🍁🦃
