Help us welcome Dr. Shalanda Hall to our growing practice! 📣

Dr. Hall joined us this summer and is excited to practice in her home state. She is a proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Dr. Hall worked as a nurse for seven years prior to pursuing a career in podiatry. Dr. Hall earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a comprehensive three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Dr. Hall is knowledgeable in podiatric medicine and surgery. She specializes in foot and ankle pain and trauma, sports medicine, diabetic foot care, and limb salvage.

In her spare time, Dr. Hall enjoys volunteering, exercising, and spending time with her family.

Our Fall Food Drive is well underway! 💪🏻 Instride Family Foot Care is partnering with CCM Crisis to Restoration for this wonderful cause until Dec. 10. ❤️ Biggest needs/requests: pasta sauce 🍝 , rice 🍚 , soup 🍲 , mac & cheese 🫕 , canned beans 🌮, and canned vegetables 🌽 . Join us!

You’ve probably heard that diabetes can cause serious ulcers on your feet. Did you know it can also break down the actual structure of your foot? Charcot foot is a condition in which a patient who has nerve damage to the feet (usually caused by diabetes) experiences a series of injuries and changes to the bones and joints of the feet. Over time, these injuries cause the foot to break down and change shape. If you have diabetes, check your feet daily for any changes, especially if you have nerve damage, and be sure to see your podiatrist at least once a year! www.apma.org/charcotfoot
