The significant sustained decrease in adults subject to an Involuntary Emergency Admission (IEA) petition boarding in NH's emergency departments is cause for hope – zero adults awaiting involuntary admission are boarding today. This outcome is made possible through the collective efforts of Mission Zero partners.

Continued investment in this work, especially in the new state budget, is critical to ensure a permanent end to ED boarding. Granite Staters, no matter their age or situation, should have access to the care they need, when and where they need it.

🌟 Online Group for Adults Exploring Neurodiversity 🌟

Balance Mental Health is excited to host another Online Group for Adults navigating neurodivergence! If you're located in New Hampshire and exploring what it means to be neurodivergent in a world that often doesn’t "get it," this is your space to connect with others who understand. 💬🤝

In this group, we will: ✨ Identify strengths ✨ Explore challenges ✨ Foster connections with others on a similar journey

This group is for individuals who are exploring, self-identifying as, or diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, or similar neurotypes. 🌈

📅 Session Details:

Meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 4:30-6:00 PM (May - August 2025)

Dates: May 15th and 29th, June 12th and 26th, July 10th and 24th, and August 14th and 28th

Cost: $50 per session, billed twice monthly, for a total of $400

Limited sliding scale spots are available

Apparently Trump's White House prefers Autism "Awareness" vs. "Acceptance" and frankly I could not care less what words they wanna use 🤷🏻

Autistic people are here, many of us are q***r, & we're not going anywhere! 🌈

It doesn't matter if you're "aware"
It doesn't matter if you "accept"
& I don't want your "celebration"

While we're changing words around, I'm gonna go ahead and proclaim that April is "AUTISTIC DEMANDS MONTH"

And I'm going to start by demanding the END of the eugenics research crusade and moving on from the war on Autism towards a more compassionate world of accommodation and inclusion. 💪🏻

Really big changes happening here! I am excited to move forward with the next phase of my career over the course of the next few months. For individual therapy, I will be seeing patients through and I couldn't be more excited! They are such a fantastic team of people who and I am thrilled to join them. Please give them a follow for any updates on this transition. (If you're a patient of mine and this is the first you're hearing of it, please check your email/the patient portal for more info!)

However, Stonecrop isn't going anywhere! I will simply be focused 100% on therapeutic gaming, geek therapy theory, and...well, you'll just have to see what's coming up next! I'll be seeing you at PAX East in May and there will be more info to come!
