The D’Amante family has once again donated giant plush toys for pediatric patients at The Family Place — a holiday tradition that has been about 30 years strong.

Thanks to the leadership of Heidi Edwards and Cris Rueffert, Food and Nutrition Services staff came together to raise more than $250 in support of the Children’s Auction, a meaningful effort that directly benefits local kids and families.

This act of generosity reflects the heart of our team and our shared commitment to strengthening the community we’re proud to serve.

𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺 '𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲' 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿 — 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺. She joins Rev. Kate Morse in providing patients with comfort and emotional support, regardless of their faith background.

Margaret and Kate have a combined 25-plus years of experience helping hospital patients and are ordained and endorsed through a recognized faith group. Additionally, they have special training to serve people of all faiths.
